Robot Wipeout
A downloadable game
Your city has been taken over by a tyrant who uses military robots to keep the population in check.
As the leader of the small movement of resistance that formed to oppose his rule, your goal is to sabotage his main weapons. You've already trapped the bridge that crosses the river at the center of the city: any robots entering this area will be vulnerable to your team of hackers.
The plan is to take control of the robots and to send them against each other. But you can only hack one of them at a time, and for a limited duration. After a short while, their defensive systems will be triggered, and they will call for reinforcement - luring more robots onto the bridge - before locking themselves from any intrusion. Furthermore, the commands you can give them are also limited, as their code will outright prevent them from attacking certain targets. You'll have to strategically use the displacement skills of some robots to get around this issue.
Lastly, in the case that things get desperate, your engineers have put together a small mecha. It won't last long against the war machines you're fighting, but you might be able to take down one of them with it, as a last resort..
The objective of this game is to get rid of as many robots as possible, by taking control of each of them one at a time, and using their unique skills to move or destroy each other. Robots can only be hacked once, and each time they are, a new one comes into play. The game ends once every card has been used or discarded.
