Witch & Beast

A young witch accidently cursed her little brother, transforming him into a wild beast.
To reverse the curse, she must take him to the Cleansing Well at the heart of the Black Mountains.
Her powers over the elements are her only hope to guide her disoriented brother through these uncharted lands, before his mind is completely lost.

The Witch and the Beast will need to traverse 7 regions to reach their objective. The Witch's 4 elemental spells let her use and modify her environment to move them both, but each turn, the Beast tries to flee towards the start of the region.
Snow will increasingly hinder their movements as they get closer to their goal, but thankfully, magical crystals growing in the cliffside will let the Witch upgrade her spells to their full potential. She can't afford to lose time however, as the curse is taking a heavy toll on her brother’s mind, and more and more frequently, he lets out deafening screams that freeze her in place...

Witch & Beast is a 27-card game for one player. No surface is needed to lay out the cards since they can all be held in your hands during the whole game. You can also pause it at any time: the cards keep track of everything.
